Threaded adapters for 1.025″ ID Suspension reservoir pressure tubes
⚠️ M27x1 threaded adapters are for the original tubes
M26x1 threads are for the new Gen 2.0 tubes (adapter only, caps remain M27x1 threads for all tubes)
- Left hand Male thread
- Female threads available in most common reservoir pressure hose fitting sizes
- Unthreaded adapters available for putting in your own threads or compression fittings.
- ALWAYS MAKE SURE THREADS ARE CLEAN before assembly!
- Always tighten adapter first, then seal cap
- Using Rocksett adhesive on the threads is highly recommended. (Substitute with Threadlock at your own risk, I cant say how much to use so you could still break the threads loose after it has set).
- 4mm holes for use with a universal grinder pin wrench (5$ at harbor freight, Amazon/ Ebay has a bunch, make sure it has 4mm pins)
- Extends 0.400″ into tube
- Adds 0.0750″ to overall length (protrudes outside of tube)
- 7075 Aluminum w/ type III anodized black Weight: 0.4oz
- Grade 5 Titanium (raw/ uncoated) Weight: 0.49oz
- 304 Stainless steel (raw/ uncoated) Weight: 0.88oz
Why Left hand threads? It eliminates the issue of adapters unthreading from the tube when removing/ unthreading accessories from the adapter. The left hand threads make it so that every time it is unthreaded from the accessory- the adapter is tightened into the tube. Unlike others with right hand treads where the adapter-tube joint breaks loose when removing.
⚠️ If adapter comes loose when threading in accessories, then the adapter was not torqued enough onto the tube. Increase tightening torque, and use a drop of Rocksett.
