1.025″ ID x 1.110″ OD Suspension reservoir pressure tubes
⚠️→Gen 2.0 tubes are threaded M26x1 on the adapter end, M27x1 on the cap end. The previous versions were threaded M27x1 on both ends
Reservoir tubes for custom suspension setups. If you need a specific length not listed here, contact us.
⚠️ If tube internal components are getting hung up on the threads, use a piece of 220-400 grit sandpaper to and give the threads a few swipes to remove any micro burrs.
- Precision machined ID for consistent pressures along its full stroke and to give your piston seals the longest life
- Material options:
- Titanium Grade 9 CWSR
- 304 Stainless Steel 1/4 hard temper
- Aluminum 2024 T6 (NOTE: AL tubes have a thicker wall and are 1.150″ OD, ID remains the same)
- Adapter end threaded Female M26x1 Left hand thread (make sure you get the proper M26x1 adapter, not M27!)
- Cap end threaded Female M27x1 Left hand thread
- The smaller thread on the adapter end allows for more strength and a built in reinforced section/ piston stopper.
- Reinforced section length is kept to a minimum, allowing more customization to the end user to set your own piston stopper length.
- Dogboned style tubes are much lighter than plain tubes as excess material is removed between the threaded ends.
- Fluted tubes are 12% lighter than plain tubes with nearly the same strength and durability, looks awesome, and it gives you so much more grip!
- Use a strap wrench on the tube when needed.
- Using Rocksett adhesive on the adapter end is highly recommended. (Substitute with Threadlock at your own risk, I cant say how much to use so you could still break the threads loose after it has set).
- Length tolerance: +0.002″ / -0.005″
Why Left hand threads? It eliminates the issue of adapters unthreading from the tube when removing/ unthreading accessories from the adapter. The left hand threads make it so that every time it is unthreaded from the accessory- the adapter is tightened into the tube. Unlike others with right hand treads where the adapter-tube joint breaks loose when removing.
⚠️ If adapter comes loose when threading in accessories, then the adapter was not torqued enough onto the tube. Increase adapter-tube union torque, and use a drop of Rocksett.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The tube ends are a precision machined surface made to seal internal air/oil pressure. Protect tube ends from damage. Do not attempt to shorten tube unless you have the tools and know-how or you will have leaks!
Anodized Aluminum color code notes:
📝 Dark grey: Anthracite grey RAL #7016 (3.8 khaos note: something went wrong with the anodizing on this batch and it is not as durable as typical type III hardcoat anodize. Therefore it is on sale.)
