Silicone Hoses designed for a clean seamless purpose built appearance, and to simplify your plumbing with a heat exchanger.
→Silicone hoses are much more flexible than rubber hoses and can easily fit onto a much larger hose fitting!! A 5/8″ (16mm) hose can easily fit onto a 18mm hose fitting.
→ Hoses can touch engine & cylinder head! But cannot touch any exhaust components!
Available hoses:
- 5/8″ ID 90° elbow
- 5/8″ ID 45° elbow
- Return hose
- Return hose is made to be more universal fit than bike specific so it may not be a direct fit on your bike depending on the location of your coolant return pump and header pipe layout. You may need to modify the hose for your specific setup. Has 5/8″ ID end for coolant return from heat exchanger, 1/4″ ID for bypass return from coolant bottle, 3/4″ ID for connection to water pump. (see plumbing setup pictures
- Heat exchanger / tunnel hose (sold as individual hose)
- 36″ long x 5/8″ ID with 90° elbow for connecting to heat exchanger and long enough to reach the backside of engine where the connections to engine in/out are hidden from view for a clean seamless appearance.
- You will need 2 hoses, one for hot supply, one for cold return
- A 3rd hose can be used from the the thermostat output → rear of engine to connect with heat exchanger hose. Silicone is very elastic, the 5/8″ hose can be stretched to fit over the 3/4″ thermostat fitting but it will take some muscle.
- Thermobob output reducer hose elbow
- 90° elbow with 3/4″ on one end to thermobob – 5/8″ on other end to hose running back to heat exchanger. All dirtbike sized Thermobobs will have a 3/4″ output and are setup to have the output upwards toward radiators. You need to redirect that output backwards towards heat exchanger and reduced it to 5/8″ and this hose will simplify that for you.

- Bypass Return Reducer
- Used only on bikes that have dual cold return inlets!
- Thermostat bypass goes either directly into coolant bottle, or goes through heated bars then into coolant bottle.
- Bypass on thermostat is usually 1/4″ hose, and the the Coolant bottle output is also 1/4″. Maintaining this small 1/4″ hose makes it much easier to run your plumbing in those tight areas. Hose flares out on the very end to 5/8″ for and easy connection to your water pump inlet!
